A reception will be held on Sunday evening. An excursion and banquet will be organized to facilitate networking of delegates and extended scientific discussion.
Workshop topics include
- Multivariate and information theory techniques, including but not limited to: PCA, MCR, PLS, DFA, MAF, Mutual Information Theory, Neural Networks, G-SIMS, libraries and standards.
- Applications to surface chemical analysis such as SIMS, XPS, MALDI, FT-IR and Raman spectroscopies, for the analysis of spectra, images, depth profiles and 3D volumes.
- Identification, quantification, prediction, validation, classification and correlation of surface chemical data with other analytical techniques.
